First impression: "what a lol!" However, when one thinks about it it is actually extremely sad really. Easy prey, the Dodo were exterminated by humans. Apparently, they were quite docile animals and couldn't fly, thus they were literally sitting ducks.It is sad to think that we, humans, have not learnt from our mistakes and are still exterminating animals, if not directly through hunting, indirectly by destroying their natural habitats. According to the World Wildlife Fund For Nature (WWF), "even if we saved all the remaining habitat in the world, 20% of species would still go extinct."
